I was instructed to research about ceramic products and take four products to work on . Following are the four products and by taking reference from the picture of original product I have to make a new product by changing design or adding another function . Below first I have presented the actual product then described the Idea & function of alteration and then their technical drawings to understand my idea more clearly.
1 Bowl :
The bowl
below is made to keep the food either hot or cold for more time . This is
double layered . There is hollow space between these layers and a hole with lid
. The hole is used for pouring hot or cold water to keep the food according to
requirement .
2 Bottle :
Following
are three different designs of bottle with double pouring system . These
bottles can contain two types of liquids at same time . The dotted section is
partition or a wall which doesn’t allow
the liquids to mix . In the middle bottle we can hold the bottles from both
sides as there is space to carry it .
3 Planters :
Following
are three designs of planters . Left one is inspired by sculptures of Easter
Island ( above in second picture ) , middle one is used for two plants and right
one is a hanging planter shaped as a big spoon . All of these planters can be
used for both indoor and outdoor purposes .
4 Necklace :
Necklace is
symbol of beauty and used for beautification .The purpose of necklace is
nothing then wearing . It’s an abstract design and this design is also used in
big abstract mural if it is not suitable for necklace .
