A Day in Lockdown

As everyone know about current situation in the world, the corona pandemic . Everyone is stick in its home and  don’t want to go outside without any need or emergency . Public places , transport , some offices and every educational institutes are closed for few weeks . Mostly people are much aware of this pandemic and they are following the precautions and safety measures  but some of them are still thinking that its not a big thing . It is the major issue ongoing in the world so I am also writing about this pandemic .
What is COVID 19 ?

Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified type has caused a recent outbreak of respiratory illness now called COVID 19 . It is the disease caused by the new coronavirus that emerged in China in December 2019. The new coronavirus can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed with a laboratory test . The new coronavirus is spread through droplets released into the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The droplets generally do not travel more than a few feet, and they fall to the ground in a few seconds  this is why social and physical distancing is effective in preventing the spread . Its symptoms include Cough , Fever , Shortness of breath , Muscle aches , Sore throat , Unexplained loss of taste or smell , Diarrhea , Headache . Diagnosis may be difficult with only a physical exam because mild cases of COVID 19 may appear similar to the flu or a bad cold. A laboratory test can confirm the diagnosis . If we talk about treatment there is not a specific treatment for the virus. People who become sick from COVID 19 should be treated with supportive measures . For severe cases there may be additional options for treatment.

Precautions :

Stay home
Practice social and physical distancing
Stay at least six feet away fom a person
Call friends and family or visit by video.
Avoid people who appear sick
Wash your hands with soap and water at least 20 seconds
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
Wear a mask
Eat healthy and that food which make your immune system strong


My Routine :

My routine in this quarantine is far different from my previous routine . A lot of things have changed in this quarantine even the behaviour . I have time for my family which I rearly had in previous routine . I am eating good and healthy homemade food and many things like this . I am a student and educational institutes are closed and I am bound in my home . I wake up around 10 am . The first thing I do after I wake up is to check my notifications on my mobile , do scrolling on social media and read some news , or my messages . It took around an hour . When my mom call me for breakfast . Then I do breakfast and it took almost an hour . My family and friends are bit tired of me because I always eat and drink so slowly .  Now a days I have nothing to do so I talk to my parents or my siblings and discuss some matters , current situation or anything till Zohar and then I offer the Zohar prayer . Praying in this quarantine is relaxing , it gives you hope and you can manage time for every prayer . After it I asked my mom If she want me to buy some vegetables or any other stuff she need . Then I go to Utility Stores or Metro Cash and Carry to buy the stuff . Everytime I go outside I see people are roaming here and there without any reason , they r not following the precautions which is alarming . I buy products by maintaining a distance from people around me .

When I came back to home and I eate some food  then I pick up my mobile and watch my favourite cartoons “ Oggy and the Cockroaches “ and in this time I also replied some of my conversations or play any mobile game till Asar .

I offer Asar prayer and then I go to my rooftop to spend some time without my mobile and watching kids playing on other roofs or flying kites which divert my attention a lot . In this time on the roof , my overthinking about current situation stop for some few moments . The blue clear sky with less air pollution , a bit fresh air and beautiful sunset give me so much hope that very very soon this pandemic will be removed from this world In sha Allah .

After it I offer Maghrib prayer , recite Holy Quran and eat some light food or any juice or junk stuff . Then I sit with my family or talk about something or I do my assignments  . Then I offer Isha prayer .  After it I call some of my friends whom I cant meet right now and talk about daily routines or their current moods and make plans which we do after the end of pandemic . Then I go to my bed and play most famous game PUBG .  
Then I checked my notifications, reply some messages and scroll for an hour and go to sleep around 2 with a hope that next day I will awake with a good news that Corona is no more in this world In sha Allah .
